ENTRY REGULATIONS
- Players must provide their own paddles. Balls will be provided.
- Athletes may compete with only one partner per event.
- Players who are ages 40 or over as of December 31, 2026 are invited to participate but are not eligible to play in the 2027 National Senior Games presented by Humana.
- The age division of competition for Doubles will be determined by the younger age of the two partners. Doubles partners must be of the same gender.
5.Doubles partners with one partner’s residence is out of state and one partner’s residence is in Oklahoma are considered Oklahoma athletes for purposes of qualifying for the 2027 National Senior Games presented by Humana.
- Players may not wear white shirts, white skirts or white shorts.
FORMAT
- For singles competition a round robin format will be utilized. For divisions with 6 or less players, each player will play all the others. The winner will be determined by his/her playing record. The round robin may lead into a single elimination tournament. For divisions with 7 or more players, the division will be broken into pools, playing a preliminary round robin within the pool. Winners from each pool will advance to a single elimination tournament.
- Round Robin format will be used for doubles and mixed doubles (same procedure as singles).
- Play shall consist of a five-game match. The winner shall be the first player to win three games.
- The first player to score 11 points wins a game, unless both players have scored 10 points. In that situation, the serve changes each point and the winner is the first player to score a two-point lead.
- Play shall be continuous throughout the match with a two-minute break between games.
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to change/modify the format of any event.

2026 is a qualifying year to participate in the 2027 National Senior Games presented by Humana in Tulsa, OK.
All Oklahoma residents who participate in select events at the 2026 Oklahoma Senior Games automatically qualify toparticipate in that event at the 2027 National Senior Games presented by Humana. Please see the rule below for details.
HOST STATE QUALIFICATION: All in-state athletes who compete in designated qualifying sports at the 2026 Oklahoma Senior Games will qualify for the 2027 National Senior Games. Host State Qualification applies to the following qualifyingsports at the 2026 Oklahoma Senior Games: Archery, Badminton, 3-on-3 Basketball, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Road Race, Shuffleboard, Softball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Triathlon, Volleyball. An in-state athlete is defined as an athlete who resides in Oklahoma for at least six months of the year.
In-state status will be determined by the athlete’s address on file with NSGA.
