STATE DIRECTOR

Darrin Hall

Darrin.hall@terrysbikes.com

  1. Oklahoma is an “Open” state. This means Oklahoma Senior Games allows participation by out-of-state athletes. The NSGA definition of an athlete’s state of residence is that state in which the athlete resides at least six months of the year.
  2. There is Team Triathlon as an event at the NSGA Championships.
  3. Find a swimmer and a runner to team up with and enter this event.  This will give you more bang for your training buck.  Let me know if you need assistance finding teammates.  This is the easiest way to win a national medal.
  4. If you want to go to the 2027 NSGA Championships as a member of a triathlon team but do not have a team OR  if you want to put a team together this is the procedure. Go to NSGA.com; NATIONAL GAMES; National Games Information; Team Partner Finder  or    https://nsga.com/tpf/

2026 IS a qualifying year to participate in the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA.

All OKLAHOMA RESIDENTS who PARTICIPATE in an event at the 2026 Oklahoma Senior Games automatically qualify to participate in that event at the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA

June 30 – July 11 if that event is offered.

(except pickleball players who must earn an Oklahoma 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their event—because of the limited court capacity)

For more information about the NSGA Championships go to:  NSGA.com
