FORMAT FOR TOURNAMENT
1.The tournament uses bowler’s scratch scores to determine champions.
- The tournament Event Director will assign bowling lanes.
- Bowlers will bowl 3 games for each event. Winners will be determined by the total score of the 3 games.
- If there is a tie for first place, a one-game “bowl-off” will be held to determine which bowler receives the Gold medal. Bowlers that tie for the Silver or Bronze medal will each receive a medal.
- Rules for Non-Ambulatory events are the same as for Ambulatory with the following two exceptions: 1) the bowler must be seated in their wheelchair or scooter or use a walker or similar device during the competition and 2) they must physically roll the ball or with the use of a ramp, as long as no one else or the chair itself helps project the ball down the lane – the bowler must be the one who imparts the energy for the ball to move down the lane.
