  1. Oklahoma is an “Open” state. This means Oklahoma Senior Games allows participation by out-of-state athletes. The NSGA definition of an athlete’s state of residence is that state in which the athlete resides at least six months of the year.

  1. Power Walk is an “OPEN” event. This means that qualification is NOT needed to participate in the 2027 National Senior Games Championships in Tulsa.

2026 IS a qualifying year to participate in the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA.

All OKLAHOMA RESIDENTS who PARTICIPATE in an event in the Oklahoma Senior Games automatically qualify to participate in that event at the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA June 30 – July 11 if that event is offered.

(except pickleball players who must earn an Oklahoma 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their event—because of the limited court capacity)
