  2. If you have time, select this event for more than the run.Enjoy the fantastic celebration Perry offers to celebrate the opening of the Cherokee Strip. Enjoy our community parade, 5K/10K race, rodeo, fair, carnival, vendors, food trucks, entertainment, and so much more!

  1. Register on the Oklahoma Senior Games.com website. DO NOT register on the actual race website.
  2. All athletes who complete this 5K qualify to participate in the 5K and the 10 K at the NSGA Championships in 2027 in Tulsa.
  3. There is Team Triathlon as an event at the NSGA Championships.
  4. Find a swimmer and a cyclist to team up with and enter this event. This will give you more bang for your training buck.  Let me know if you need assistance finding teammates.  This is the easiest way to win a national medal.  fitzgerald@OKSeniorGames.com  727.776.1877
  5. If you want to go to the 2027 NSGA Championships as a member of a triathlon team but do not have a team OR  if you want to put a team together this is the procedure. Go to NSGA.com; NATIONAL GAMES; National Games Information; Team Partner Finder  or    https://nsga.com/tpf/

2026 IS a qualifying year to participate in the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA.

All OKLAHOMA RESIDENTS who PARTICIPATE in the 2026 Oklahoma Senior Games automatically qualify to participate in that event at the 2027 National Senior Games in TULSA June 30 – July 11 if that event is offered.

(except pickleball players who must earn an Oklahoma 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their event—because of the limited court capacity)
